Full Tummy

Nothing like a little cuddle time with Daddy!

We put Kinsey's high chair in the kitchen and fed her while we were cooking supper. As soon as she got her tummy full we turned around and this is what we found!

Last Weekend

It's hard to believe that this was just last weekend! What a great weekend to be outside! I'm not sure who enjoyed the tractor rides more!?

Riley wouldn't believe me that it was too windy to fly a kite until we broke it 3 times and repaired it with duct tape! She tried one last time and decided that we'd wait for a better day!

Daddy was sure hoping that the paint would wash off! Riley was really sad when it was gone after the rain! Now she's ready to paint some more but of course I can't find the refills for her!

Snow Day

I can't believe how much snow we had! Notice I said had! It's going just about as fast as it got here! We made time to play while it was here! Riley has wanted to sled all winter! She had so much fun! Justin tied the sled behhind the lawn mower (isn't that the redneck way??) and off they went! I love those big giggly smiles! You can tell that she's loving every minute!

Tractor Ride

This is from Sunday afternoon! The girls had such a good time outside in the nice weather! It's great to finally be able to get out!

Spring is in the air!

Spring is here.... I hope!!

Here's some signs that spring is very close!! I know I'm ready!!

Planting corn! Riley rode with Daddy for a while when we took his supper to the field! She loves to ride in the tractor! Kinsey stood in my lap and waved every time they came to the end of the field!

Our Bradford Pears look like it snowed on them! They look so pretty! I wish they could stay like that all year!

Riley and Kendra sharing a birthday sundae!

On Riley's actual birthday we told her we would take her to see Kendra! Kendra is one of Riley's favorite people and she's really missed her since she's moved away to play basketball! So we loaded up the girls and went to Columbia to see a basketball game! The girls did awesome! It was a 5 1/2 hour trip b/c we had to drive to Fredonia to pick Justin up and then we headed to Columbia. We stopped once in Kansas City to get gas and let Riley go potty. The girls never fussed once about being in the car seats that long!

We stayed at a really neat hotel. Our room had bunk beds and a king size bed. Good thing b/c of course we all 4 slept in the king size bed! After the game we had ice cream with Christa, Kendra, & John. Kendra gave Riley a stuffed tiger for her birthday which she has slept with ever since! We went swimming at the motel and called it a night! We headed home the next morning. It was a short but very fun trip!
